Four Winds

This residency will give Acacia the time and space to record their next album in the beautiful settings of the Windsong Pavilion. They plan to record an album of traditional classical and Australian repertoire – works by Joseph Haydn, Alexander Borodin, Alice Chance and Lyle Chan.

Their fifth (and most important) person in this recording project is wonderful audio engineer Craig Greening, who will set up his microphones to capture everything.

If everything goes to plan, Move Records will eventually release Acacia’s next album.

The Residency time at Four Winds will include the premier performance of composer Richard Lawson’s How to Read A City, Your Place of Last Resort by Acacia Quartet on 30 August with accompanying poems read by poet Elizabeth Walton and a Q and A compered by Eddie Williams from ABC South East.
